FAQ

Can my child still be vaccinated if they have epilepsy or a history of febrile convulsions?

Yes. Unless your child has a high temperature on the day of vaccination, your child can still have their vaccinations.

Please talk to the healthcare professional and make them aware so they can make a clinical decision on the day.

I’m Jasmine, 14 from Exmouth. I had the HPV vaccine at school. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was just over and done really quick. The nursing team were amazing, answered all my questions, and gave me a drink when I felt a bit wobbly. Felt a bit achy after, like after netball, but it went quick. Now I’m protected.
