No vaccines in the UK contain mercury. It used to be the case (pre 2004) that some vaccines contained a compound called thiomersal which is a mercury-based preservative.

Thorough research found no association between the levels of mercury used in vaccines and conditions like brain damage or autism in children. Still, to lower mercury exposure, and in response to public concern the UK has completely discontinued the use of thiomersal in vaccines.
