FAQ

Is it better to give vaccines separately instead of together?

Administering multiple vaccines in one visit ensures your child is protected from diseases quickly and reduces the need for multiple appointments. There’s no health advantage to spacing them out over several visits. Some vaccines are combined into one injection to minimise injections, like the 6-in-1 vaccine, which cuts six injections down to one. These combined vaccines are just as effective as individual ones and pose no additional safety risks or concerns for your child.

Hiya, I'm Chloe age 11 in Yeovil. I had the MMR jab to keep measles away. I was a bit scared, but the nurse was super nice, chatting about horse riding. The jab was like a tiny scratch. We all got a longer break as well which was a bonus. If you’re getting it, it’s no big deal – you’ll be a totally fine just like me.
